This session will cover topics around helping library users who are looking for data. This will include information on common library data services in this area, such as locating datasets, providing guidance on data access and reuse, and connecting users to other resources. We will also discuss the reference interview process, data sources, repositories, and aggregated search tools such as the National Library of Medicine’s Dataset Catalog. Additionally there will be a guided data finding exercise for workshop attendees.
